Frederique Constant Swiss Breakthroughs and Releases
In 1994, Frederique Constant released the first iteration of its most famous collection, the The Heartbeat, Designed to show the complex mechanical nature within, the key feature is a window in the dial, which displays the internal complication of the watch. This feature set a trend, which many other companies began to follow.
In February 2007, Frederique Constant began production of the Silicium escapement wheel. Later that same year the company introduced, the Heart Beat Calibre FC 935 Silicium, which provided new high tech materials creating a better and more precise mechanical watch.
In April 2008 Frederique Constant established itself as one of Switzerlands leading watch brands with its creation of a tourbillion. The company created for the first time a tourbillion with amplitude of over 300 degrees between its vertical and horizontal positions. This allowed the watch to have a very unusual level of precision, their inclusion of a silicium guaranteed optimum protection.
