Raymond Weil watches and Music
Many of the Raymond Weil watch families are inspired by music and have names associated with music. Among them are Amedeus (Mozart), Fidelio (Beethoven), Parifal (Wagner), Nabucco (Verdi), Maestro (Sinatra) and Toccata. Some might say creating a new watch requires a great deal of creativity and vision, like creating an opera or a symphony. It also requires precision craftsmanship and attention to finest detail. Each Raymond Weil watch undergoes 350 different inspections before it is able to represent the brand.
Raymond Weil watches and modern technology
The latest Raymond Weil creations embrace both Swiss tradition and modern, innovative technology. For example, the new Nabucco series feature a 46mm case, power reserve indicator and the use of carbon fiber materials. The Freelancer collection is all mechanical with a visible balance wheel. The Maestro collection features date, day, month, week number and moon phase added to an automatic movement generating a 42 hour power reserve.
