Michele Watches Philosophy

The company began with the exquisite thinking of watchmaker Maurice Barouh in Belgium. His strong belief in quality and refinement set the company up for where it is today. Over time, Maurice eventually passed on his desire and passion to his son Jack Barough. Jack operated Michele watches in Latin America area and quickly became famous. It was his attention to individual detail and dedication to very peice of watch that carved a niche for Michele watches. He had a keen eye for every little detail that separated Michele watches from other brands. Jacka and Rita's first child was named Michele, hence the name of the company. At first, Michele watches created children's watches so their daughter would know how to tell time. To the suprise of Jack and Rita, the children's watches became a hit.

Michele Watches and its Road to Fame

The success that they garnered from the children's MIchele watches was an eye opener. They began thinking of expanding and decided to launch the MW collection. In 2000, the third generation of Barouh's joined Michele watches and started the collection in Miami. In 2002, Michele watches were selling strong and Michele and Jeremy followed the company.The CSX Diamond chronograph Michele watch propelled the company to fame in the USA.
